We offer the installation of reinforced springs for all types of MPVs, vans and vans. Vehicles registered in VP (Private Vehicles) are fitted with springs provided for standard use. However, in the context of intensive and prolonged use with leisure facilities (roof tent, Campinambulle travel trunks, etc.), it may prove more comfortable to reinforce the springs at the rear of the vehicle, in particular when vehicles are no longer brand new. They do not “harden” driving, on the contrary they improve handling and maintain the original ground clearance of the vehicle. Depending on the vehicle, this involves either adding an additional spring inside the original spring to strengthen the latter, or replacing the original spring with a more powerful spring.
The price includes the springs and installation by an authorized mechanic.
Manufacturer Description
Carsupport springs are made of a high-strength steel alloy High technology Cr-Si-V stretching with a heat pre-treatment and with a higher Cr-V content than that usually used for the manufacture of springs. The manufacturing technique makes it possible to obtain springs that do not jump. The height of the vehicle remains constant. The shape of the Carsupport springs is much better than the original springs. This is why there is no risk of damaging the lower spring support. There are two types of reinforced springs:
1. Springs which completely replace the original springs for CITROËN BERLINGO, C4, C5 or PEUGEOT PARTNER, BIPPER, 508, 5008, or FIAT Fiorino, VOLKSWAGEN T5, T6, MERCEDES Vito, Viano type vehicles.
They are available in 2 models:
- PRO : Only CARSUPPORT PRO springs are real springs that work progressively. Thanks to a specific design, the compression rate of this type of spring ideally increases according to the increase in the load for a reinforcement of +10% to +50%. The advantage is that the unloaded vehicle remains comfortable and lifts only 10 to 20 mm. With a full load, the lift is 40-50 mm.
- PER : These reinforced PER springs are permanently calibrated for a resistance 35% higher than that of the original springs. They are ideal for vehicles that are constantly heavily loaded or if the driver wants a firm ride.
2. Auxiliary springs which are fitted as supplements to be placed inside the original springs for vehicles such as PEUGEOT Expert, Traveller, CITROËN Jumpy, Dispatch, Space Tourer, TOYOTA ProAce (including Shuttle version), RENAULT KANGOO and DACIA DOKKER, NISSAN Primastar, NV200, NV400, OPEL Vivaro, Combo, Campo, MERCEDES Vito, Viano, FIAT Scudo and DOBLO, VOLKSWAGEN T5, T6)
They are available in 3 models:
- STANDARD if the vehicle drives sometimes empty, sometimes loaded;
- HD (High Resistance) if the vehicle is permanently loaded,
- EHD (Extra High Resistance) if the vehicle is permanently driven very heavily loaded.
It is also possible to equip the entire range of 4x4 vehicles.
