The Van star is the ideal solution for moving the bike carrier to the side. You can therefore use your Campinambulle travel trunk without having to remove the bikes or disassemble the bike rack.

The bike rack is inseparable from the swivel arm (unlike the van-swing which is sold without a bike rack).

It attaches to the vehicle chassis and only fits the following models:

• Fiat Ducato, Peugeot Boxer and Citroen Jumper from 2006
• Mercedes Sprinter, Volkswagen (New) Crafter and MAN TGE from 1996

Please note that we no longer install star vans on Transporter type vans etc. because the ground clearance is not sufficient.

The installation is not included in the sale price of the bike rack. The price of the installation depends on the vehicle model.

Please note that the vehicle must be fitted with a 13-pin electrical harness in order to be able to fit the pivoting arm (we can supply and install the harness on request). Allow 1 day for the installation of the harness and the bike rack.

Van-Star, Swivel bike rack for two (electric) bicycles, designed for Fiat Ducato X250 (L1-L3) 2006-, up to 6 meters.
The Van-Star is capable of carrying two e-bikes (60 kg.), and is mounted on the van chassis. Therefore, the biggest problems of transporting electric bikes are solved. The bike carrier can easily be swiveled to the right side, empty or loaded, in order to gain access to the luggage compartment. A support wheel is not necessary. If the carrier is not in use, it can be folded up without any tools. Folding the stand saves space in the garage, but also on ferries. The space saving is about 40 cm. Also, the Van-Star is completely removable; the chassis adapters can remain in place under the vehicle. The Van-Star does not need a trailer hitch for its installation, but the combination is possible. Two types of Van-Star exist due to two different lengths of Fiat Ducato vans. There are vans up to 5.99m (indicated as L1-L3) and vans up to 6.40m (indicated as L4).

Removable without tools
Combination with hitch possible, but to tow a trailer you have to remove the bike rack from the van star (4 nuts to remove).
